Momentum Center for Social Engagement

Our Story

In 2015, Barbara Lee VanHorssen founded Extended Grace with a vision to foster a culture of compassion and connection. Through community conversations and collaborative efforts, the organization opened the Momentum Center for Social Engagement, a unique space dedicated to supporting adults with mental illness, addictions, and disabilities. The success of the Momentum Center led to the establishment of Momentum Center Teens, welcoming youth from age 11, further expanding the reach of this vital initiative.
