Our Story

Founded by Emily Prins in 2015, Expect Hope is dedicated to serving expectant mothers in New York City. Since opening its doors in early 2018, this independent nonprofit has focused on providing a safe residence and holistic support for women in need.

Expect Hope addresses the material, emotional, and spiritual needs of expectant mothers, equipping them with Biblical guidance, training, and mentoring to prepare for their new families.
