Our Story

The Excite Foundation is rooted in the vision of the founders of Excite Credit Union, established in 1952 to support the employees and communities of the General Electric Nuclear Division. Founded in 2020, the Foundation amplifies cooperative principles of financial education, inclusion, and community concern.

Our Impact

In just two years, the Excite Foundation has opened over 1,000 Step Up and Youth Savings accounts, significantly impacting families in East San Jose. The Foundation is also prepared to respond swiftly to natural disasters, ensuring that help reaches those in need.
