Our Story

The Exchange Club’s Family Center of the Central Piedmont, established in 1997, is dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse and neglect across Alamance, Orange, Chatham, Caswell, Person, Guilford, and Randolph counties. As a proud member of the National Exchange Club Network, the center has a rich history of community service and child abuse prevention initiatives.

Impact

Through its Intensive Family Preservation program, the agency has successfully improved family functioning, preventing out-of-home placements for 97% of families served. Additionally, 94% of parents and children have enhanced their parenting and life skills by participating in parenting classes.
