Our Story
The Exceller Fund was established in September 1997, inspired by the tragic fate of the champion racehorse Exceller. Founded by passionate racing fans, the organization aims to honor Exceller's legacy by rescuing Thoroughbreds from neglect and slaughter. Initially sponsoring horses at the United Pegasus Foundation, the first rescue was Elite Power. Since becoming a registered 501(c)(3) charity in 2001, The Exceller Fund has united horse lovers across the country in a mission to save these majestic animals.
Impact

Through donations and partnerships, The Exceller Fund continues to advocate for the welfare of Thoroughbreds nationwide.
