Developing Options, Inc. is a dedicated non-profit organization founded in 2004, aimed at providing the youth of the 77th I GRYD Zone in Los Angeles, California, with alternatives to gang violence, drugs, and crime. The journey began with one individual’s vision to offer the youth the support and opportunities he lacked during his upbringing. Over the years, the program has expanded significantly, impacting over 6,000 individuals and forming hundreds of partnerships to deliver a wide range of services, including education, health care, and food access.
Making a Lasting Impact
With 1,500 high school graduates and 500 college scholarships awarded, Developing Options has achieved a remarkable 90% reduction in gang community violence.
