Transforming Lives Through Culinary Arts

In honor of the legacies of William White, Jr. and Gwendolyn Barjon, The Evolved Network was established to uplift impoverished, at-risk youth. This nonprofit harnesses the transformative power of brokenness, turning it into redemptive hospitality for both mentors and mentees. By engaging youth in culinary arts and gardening, participants learn to create culinary masterpieces while discovering their unique gifts.

Making a Positive Impact

Since January 2023, The Evolved Network has positively impacted the lives of 788 youth across the south, southwest, and west sides of Chicago. Last year alone, over 475 young people benefited from our programs, which combine culinary skills with emotional well-being.
