Everybody Ready for a Great Start

Our Story

Founded in 2001, Everybody Ready emerged from a commitment to prioritize children aged 0-5 in Wayne County, Michigan. With the support of the Colina Foundation, this initiative was born from the "Ready to Learn" summit, aiming to enhance public and private sector awareness of quality services for families. In 2006, Everybody Ready became the designated entity for Michigan’s Great Start Initiative, fostering collaboration among over 50 community leaders to build a comprehensive early childhood system.

Impact

Everybody Ready has successfully engaged diverse families in Detroit/Wayne County, ensuring their voices shape the resources and information shared. This innovative approach has transformed early childhood resource dissemination, making it more accessible and relevant to families.
