Our Story

The Evergreen Sustainability Alliance began as a grassroots initiative among friends and neighbors in Evergreen, Colorado. Gathered around a kitchen table, this passionate group recognized the urgent need for enhanced recycling and composting opportunities in their community. In 2010, this collective effort blossomed into a 501c3 nonprofit organization, initially known as the Evergreen Alliance for Sustainability. The shared values of living responsibly and respecting the environment drive the mission to tread lightly on Earth, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
