Our Story

Everett Community Growers was established through a collaborative effort by the Everett Community Health Partnership to address food access inequities in Everett. The journey began with a community organizing campaign led by La Comunidad, Inc., resulting in the creation of the Florence Street Community Garden in 2012. Since then, ECG has expanded its impact by establishing additional community gardens and farms, including the Tremont Street Community Garden, Earthworks Garden, and Northern Strand Community Farm.

Our Impact

In 2020, ECG launched its first farm stand, accepting various payment methods, including HIP/SNAP/P-EBT/Card and cash, to enhance accessibility to fresh produce. As renovations continue at the Northern Strand Community Farm, ECG has opened a new location on Broadway, ensuring the community continues to benefit from locally grown food.
