Our Story
Founded in 1962, Guardian Angels of Elk River began with a mission to serve the older population of Elk River and its surrounding areas. Sponsored by Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and supported by local business leaders and the medical community, the organization opened the Guardian Angels Care Center in 1965, a 60-bed nursing facility. Over the years, it has expanded its services to include independent living, assisted living, memory care, and hospice care.
Our Impact
Today, Guardian Angels serves over 3,000 individuals and their families annually in Albertville, Becker, Elk River, Otsego, and Zimmerman.
