Our Story
Founded in 1879 by Pastor Wilhelm Hansen and community leaders, the Evangelical Homes of Michigan Foundation began as the Zoar Society, dedicated to caring for orphaned children and the elderly. The first home, Talitha Cumi, was established in Detroit in 1882, marking the beginning of a legacy of compassionate care. Today, EHM Senior Solutions continues this mission, providing quality care to seniors across Michigan.
