Our Story

The Erie Regional Library Foundation was founded in 2000 as the sole philanthropic tributary of the Erie County Public Library System. Its mission is to secure funding necessary for building branch libraries and supporting dynamic projects that keep libraries creative and flexible.

Impact

Through its efforts, the ERLF has successfully funded the construction of new library branches, renovations of existing branches, and the acquisition of a new Bookmobile. This ensures that libraries serve as vibrant community centers.
