Ephrata Area Education Foundation

Our Story

The Ephrata Area Education Foundation was established in 2004 by Gerry Rosati, the then superintendent of the Ephrata Area School District. The foundation was created to support the educational mission of the district by funding innovative programs that the regular budget could not accommodate. By taking calculated risks, the foundation allows for the exploration of new educational ideas without burdening taxpayers. Since the inception of the Venture Grants in 2005, the foundation has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to enhance classroom activities and projects, providing students with hands-on learning experiences.

Impact

In the 2023-24 academic year, the Ephrata Area Education Foundation allocated $101,000 towards Signature Programs, showcasing its dedication to educational excellence and innovation. These initiatives empower students to reach their full potential and cultivate a lifelong passion for learning.
