Our Story
Founded in 1978 by Robert Ennis, the Ennis Center for Children began with a mission to support abused and neglected children. Starting with limited resources, the organization has expanded its services to include specialized foster care and adoption, adapting to the evolving needs of the community.
Impact
Each year, the Ennis Center serves over 6,000 children and families in crisis across Southeast Michigan. With more than 500 children in foster care daily, the organization is a leader in finding loving adoptive families, especially for those with special needs.
