Our Story

Founded in 2021 by Guadalupe Valdés, English Together is dedicated to serving low-income, Spanish-speaking immigrants in California. With over 25 years of experience, Valdés has created a program that connects volunteers with immigrant workers, fostering community and trust through one-on-one English practice.

Impact

Volunteers and learners alike have shared transformative experiences. Workers have successfully passed credentialing exams, engaged in their children's education, and navigated everyday challenges, all thanks to improved English skills.
