Our Story
English for New Bostonians was established in 2001 by the Boston Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement to meet the pressing need for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes. Over the years, ENB has grown into an independent nonprofit, supporting over 20 ESOL providers and serving nearly 1,000 adult learners each year. By fostering innovative programs and partnerships, ENB enhances access to English education, enabling immigrants to thrive in the workforce and community.
