Our Story

Founded in 2007 by Joanna D. Underwood, Energy Vision is dedicated to advancing clean, renewable, and carbon-free energy technologies. With a focus on preventing methane emissions from decaying food and farm waste, the organization has become a leading resource in the field of anaerobic digestion and sustainable energy solutions.

Impact

Since its inception, Energy Vision has coordinated over 20 workshops and published influential reports that have driven significant progress in the transition to sustainable energy. The organization has helped grow biomethane projects in the US from a few dozen to over 250, displacing more than 350 million gallons of high-carbon diesel fuel and eliminating over 2.5 million tons of CO2 emissions.
