Energy Share of Wyoming was founded by a coalition of utilities to address the urgent needs of individuals and families who fall through the cracks of traditional assistance programs. With seed funding from these utilities, the organization has grown through partnerships with various community organizations, operating with an all-volunteer board to ensure that every dollar raised goes directly to those in need.
During the 2021-2022 season, Energy Share of Wyoming provided critical assistance to 469 households, helping them manage their gas, electric, and propane bills with a total of $142,081 raised.
