About ECANA
The Endometrial Cancer Action Network for African Americans (ECANA) was founded in December 2017 by a dedicated team of survivors and researchers, including Dr. Kemi Doll, Margie Willis, and Bridgette Hempstead. This organization was established to create a supportive community for Black individuals affected by endometrial cancer, focusing on advocacy, research, and education.
Impact of ECANA
Since its inception, ECANA has raised over $45,000 to educate the Black community about endometrial cancer and promote health equity. The organization is committed to improving survival rates and addressing the racial disparities in this disease.
