Our Story
Founded in December 1952, the Empty Pantry Fund began as a collaboration between the Jaycees and The Daily Times. Initially delivering over 100 food baskets, the program has grown to serve more than 1,250 families in Blount County each year.
Our Impact
This Christmas, over 1,250 families will receive a basket filled with staple items, providing enough food to feed a family of four for an entire week.
