Empowering Women as Leaders (EWL) is a dedicated non-profit organization that has been transforming the lives of non-traditional age women since 2004. By providing scholarships, mentoring, and networking opportunities, EWL supports women who face financial challenges in pursuing their education and career aspirations. The women supported by EWL are affectionately known as STARs, as they are encouraged to shine brightly and achieve their dreams.

Impacting Lives

Celebrating 20 years of service, EWL has sponsored 154 women, awarding approximately $500,000 in scholarships. The organization’s strong mentoring and networking programs have resulted in a STAR graduation rate that significantly exceeds the national average, showcasing the effectiveness of its initiatives.
