In 2005, Dan felt a calling to serve in Haiti after years of working in construction and volunteering with various organizations. He met Madel, a seamstress and educator from the Philippines, and together they joined the ministry at La Croix, Haiti, where they lead the construction and administration of a technical school. Their mission is to create opportunities for individuals and communities through education and vocational training, grounded in their Christian faith.
