EmployAbility

Our Story

EmployAbility’s journey began in 1951, founded by parents of children with special needs who sought to create opportunities for socialization, enrichment, and education. Over the decades, the organization has evolved to focus on supported integrated employment, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) thrive in their communities.

Impact

In 2023, EmployAbility proudly supported 111 individuals in securing competitive employment, with 100% earning above minimum wage. Additionally, 183 participants engaged daily in community activities, while 93 trainees developed essential life skills.
