Our Story

The Emily Catherine Fedorko Foundation was established in memory of Emily Catherine Fedorko, who tragically lost her life in a water tubing accident in 2014. This foundation is dedicated to honoring her legacy by promoting education, advocacy, and awareness of boating and water sports safety for both adults and children.

Impact

Through its efforts, the foundation successfully passed 'Emily’s Law' in Connecticut, which prohibits children under 16 from piloting watercraft while towing skiers or tubers. It has partnered with various organizations to promote boating safety and has distributed thousands of safety kits and life vests.
