Our Story

The Emergency Aid of Pennsylvania Foundation was established in 1914 by eight visionary women in Philadelphia to provide essential relief during World War I. Over the years, the foundation has evolved to focus on enhancing the lives of women and children in the Philadelphia area through impactful grants and educational programs.

With nearly $2,000,000 awarded in grants and over $500,000 in scholarships, the foundation has significantly improved the lives of women, children, and families in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
