Our Story

Established in 1960 by the New York Yearly Meeting, Powell House was born from a generous gift of residential property from Elsie K. Powell, Sr. This beautiful property has evolved into a vibrant center featuring Pitt Hall, the Anna Curtis Center, and 57 acres of land, including a campground and wildlife ponds. It serves as a sanctuary for spiritually focused conferences and community-building gatherings.

Impact

Each year, Powell House hosts around 70 conferences and retreats, welcoming approximately 2,500 individuals dedicated to spiritual growth and community connection.
