Our Story
Founded in 1983 from a humble walk-in closet at Yorkfield Presbyterian Church, the Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry (EYFP) has grown to meet the increasing demand for food assistance in the community. With a new 2,500 square-foot facility opened in 2016, EYFP offers a welcoming and dignified shopping environment for those in need.
Impact
In 2023, EYFP is committed to serving a diverse population, including unemployed individuals, single parents, senior citizens, and those facing disabilities or medical challenges.
