Our Story
Founded on the unceded land of the Munsee Lenape peoples, the Elizabeth Youth Theater Ensemble is dedicated to amplifying the voices of young artists. Through theater and creative learning, the organization empowers individuals and communities to confront and dismantle the legacies of settler colonialism.
Impact
The core program, Walking the Beat, fosters positive change by bridging the gap between teenagers from the Global Majority and law enforcement personnel through an innovative arts-based social justice residency.
