Our Story
Since 1981, the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless has been a beacon of hope for the homeless and impoverished in Union County, New Jersey. Serving over 2,500 individuals annually, the Coalition offers emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and comprehensive services aimed at fostering self-sufficiency.
Impact
The Coalition significantly impacts the lives of working homeless families, providing them with a safe haven when they do not qualify for public shelters. Remarkably, 220 families have successfully graduated from our Hospitality House program, with none experiencing homelessness again.
