In 2012, the exposure of a brothel in Houston revealed the harsh realities of human trafficking, prompting the formation of Elijah Rising. What began as a small prayer group has transformed into a dedicated organization focused on ending sex trafficking. Through awareness campaigns and intervention efforts, Elijah Rising has successfully negotiated the closure of multiple brothels and has launched the Elijah Rising Restorative Care Program, providing essential support for survivors.
