In the wake of George Floyd's tragic death in May 2020, the founder of Elevate to Even Plus recognized the urgent need for proactive support of equality. Established in New Jersey, a state grappling with significant income inequality and segregation, Elevate+ aims to break the cycle of inequality by funding internships at nonprofits. This initiative not only provides valuable work experiences for students but also connects them with for-profit companies that directly fund their wages.
