Founded in November 2006, the Electronic Discovery Institute (EDI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to education, leadership, service, advocacy, and research at the intersection of law and technology. The EDI community includes corporate counsel, private practitioners, judges, professors, and technologists who collaborate annually at the EDI Leadership Summit to address emerging issues in discovery, information governance, and cybersecurity.
EDI believes in making leading education and training accessible to all practitioners, eliminating financial barriers to knowledge in legal technology and data security. By fostering a diverse community, EDI enhances the pursuit of justice and reflects the full spectrum of America.
