Our Story

In 2018, the El Salitre Women’s and Children’s Center began its journey with a cross-cultural conversation in a safe space in El Salitre, Guatemala. Listening to the stories of local women about their struggles with poverty, violence, and lack of education, the center has grown from renting a room in a church to establishing its own facility. Today, it employs seamstresses and teachers, providing vital educational programs for children.
