Our Story

Rooted in the community since 1976, El Pueblo Health Services, Inc. has been dedicated to providing comprehensive family health care to the residents of Sandoval County, including the town of Bernalillo and surrounding areas. Founded by a group of committed community members, El Pueblo was granted non-profit 501(c)(3) status in 1977. Recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center Look Alike since 1991, El Pueblo has served as the only primary care provider in Bernalillo for nearly 47 years, ensuring that multiple generations of residents have access to essential health services.
