Our Story
Founded in March 1954, the El Paso County Historical Society emerged from the vision of Cleofas Calleros and the Women’s Department of the Chamber of Commerce. Since then, it has dedicated itself to collecting and preserving the rich history of El Paso, while publishing the quarterly journal 'Password' to share historical insights with the community.
