Our Story

Founded in 1980 by Dr. Laura Alpern, El Paso Country Day School (EPCDS) was established to meet the educational needs of academically advanced students. This private, non-denominational, non-profit institution offers a unique learning environment for children from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade, emphasizing individualized instruction and fostering a positive self-concept.

Impact

Students at EPCDS consistently test two years above grade level, ranking in the Nation’s top 10%. With over 40 years of commitment to educational excellence, graduates are accepted at prestigious colleges and universities across North America.
