Our Story

Established in 1994, El Centro de Corazón began as a social service organization focused on early childhood development. In 2003, it expanded its mission by merging with Eastwood Health Clinic, gaining FQHC status and enabling the provision of primary care services. Over the years, El Centro has grown to operate three health center locations in Houston: Eastwood, John S. Dunn, and Magnolia. Today, it offers a wide range of services including primary care, women’s health, dental care, and behavioral health care.
