Our Story

The Ekenywa story began with two childhood friends, Ashley and Elsie, who were inspired by their experiences volunteering at a local mission hospital. Witnessing the struggles of children in poverty, they co-founded Ekenywa to address the multi-faceted needs of rural primary schools in Kenya.

Our Impact

Ekenywa has provided sustainable access to clean water for 15,000 people daily and reduced school absences by 90% through our WASH program.
