Our Story

Educators for Excellence began in 2010 when a group of passionate teachers gathered in New York to discuss the challenges they faced in their classrooms. Recognizing the need for change, they established the Educators for Excellence Declaration of Teachers’ Principles and Beliefs, which continues to guide their mission. Today, this movement has grown to over 30,000 educators across multiple states, advocating for impactful policy changes that benefit students and the teaching profession.
