Our Story

Education Through Music (ETM) is the largest non-profit provider of comprehensive music education in New York City schools. Founded in 1991, ETM addresses the inequities in music education access caused by budget cuts and resource limitations. By integrating music education into the core curriculum of under-resourced schools, ETM positively impacts the motivation, achievement, and self-confidence of underserved students.
