About the Education Policy and Leadership Center

The Education Policy and Leadership Center (EPLC) was founded in 1998 by Ron Cowell, a former Pennsylvania House Representative. EPLC is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities and improving student learning from PreK to 12th grade across Pennsylvania.

Since its inception, EPLC has successfully sponsored the Pennsylvania Education Policy Fellowship program, graduating over 700 leaders who advocate for effective education policies throughout the Commonwealth.
