Founded by Ngor Majak, Education Bridge emerged from the challenges he faced in accessing education during the civil war in South Sudan. After experiencing education in a refugee camp and excelling at the African Leadership Academy and the University of Notre Dame, he dedicated his life to transforming the educational landscape in South Sudan. Education Bridge aims to empower young people to break the cycle of poverty and violence through quality education.
Since its inception, Education Bridge has positively impacted over 1,200 students, provided more than 120 full scholarships, and established two secondary school campuses in South Sudan. One of these schools was ranked as the top school in the country in 2021, with graduates attending prestigious universities and taking on leadership roles in their communities.
