Our Story

Established in 1977, the Edinburg Center was founded on the belief that every person has the potential to learn, change, and live a meaningful life in their chosen community. Originally a Community Mental Health Center, it has evolved to support individuals with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and brain injuries. Serving over 3,000 individuals annually, the Center employs approximately 400 dedicated staff members.

Impact

The Edinburg Center's Jail Diversion program connects individuals in crisis with essential mental health and substance abuse services, providing a vital alternative to arrest and incarceration. This initiative significantly enhances service delivery and improves outcomes for those in need.
