Our Story
EcoSikh is a dedicated initiative from the Sikh community addressing the urgent threats posed by climate change and environmental degradation. Established in response to the United Nations Development Programme's Long Term Plans for Generational Change in 2009, EcoSikh aims to foster a sustainable relationship between faith and nature.
Impact
With over 850 forests planted across Punjab and other regions in India, EcoSikh significantly enhances biodiversity and soil quality. The organization also spearheads environmental awareness programs, including Sikh Environment Day, to inspire sustainable practices within the Sikh community.
