Our Story

The Economic Justice Coalition, originally the Living Wage Coalition, was established in 2003 in Athens, Georgia. This organization has evolved to advocate for living wages, better working conditions, and broader economic justice issues, particularly for BIPOC communities.

Our Impact

Since its inception, EJC has registered over 21,000 voters and has been a driving force in advocating for living wages and improved working conditions for low-wage workers in Northeast Georgia.
