Established in 2016, Economic Development on Third (EDoT) emerged from a community initiative aimed at revitalizing the 3rd Street corridor in Bayview Hunters Point, San Francisco. This organization focuses on intentional and equitable business development, supporting the largest concentration of African American-owned businesses in the city.
Since its inception, EDoT has facilitated the creation of 23 new businesses and invested over $4 million in facade and tenant improvement projects. These efforts have significantly enhanced the economic vitality of the 3rd Street corridor.
