The EcoLogik Institute was founded in 2017 at Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego, California, to bridge the gap in female representation in STEM fields. This initiative connects young, underrepresented female explorers and scientists to the natural resources and science of America’s National Parks, fostering a passion for the environment and innovation.
With 8,224 community members engaged through 172 public programs, the EcoLogik Institute has provided over 96 hours of high engagement learning to 450 young explorers through summer camps. Additionally, a mentorship network of 150 female STEM professionals has been established to support student development.
