Empowering Individuals with Special Needs
ECLC of New Jersey stands for "Education, Careers & Lifelong Community" for children and adults with special needs, including autism and Down syndrome. Founded in 1970 by dedicated parents, ECLC has evolved from providing early-intervention services to a handful of preschoolers to serving a growing number of adult clients. With two accredited schools, ECLC educates students aged 5-21 with severe learning disabilities and offers post-graduate transition services through Community Personnel Services (CPS). The PRIDE program further supports adults with vocational training and independent living skills.
Making a Lasting Impact
CPS boasts a remarkable track record, placing over 90% of job-seeking clients into meaningful employment. For those not yet ready for the workforce, ECLC provides tours of alternative adult habilitation programs, ensuring every individual has a pathway to success.
