Our Story

Founded in 2016, Habitat Community Capital (HCC) emerged as a vital nonprofit lender addressing the urgent need for affordable financing options among Habitat affiliates and other affordable housing developers. As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), HCC is dedicated to enhancing the capacity of affordable housing organizations.

Impact

Since its inception, HCC has invested $8.2 million, built 46 homes, and served 175 individuals, significantly contributing to the community's affordable housing landscape.
